Wild Talks is a lecture series by Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network that explores our wild world through the eyes of experts in different wildlife fields.

On August 30th, 2023, join us for an engaging lecture that will immerse you in the compelling world of one of North America's most iconic and endangered birds: The California Condor. You will learn all about their captivating history, their current status, and the California Condor Recovery Program.

You will be expertly guided along this journey by Debbie Parisi, Board Member of Friends of California Condors, Wild and Free, Dr. Estelle Sandhaus the Director of Conservation and Science at the Santa Barbara Zoo, and Arianna Punzalan, the Supervisory Wildlife Biologist at the Hopper Mountain National Wildlife Refuge Complex, for US Fish and Wildlife.
