Fish hooks and fishing line

Carelessness has condemned this beautiful female pelican to an early death. Her pouch, which she uses to catch fish, was slit by a fishing hook and can not be repaired. When people are conscientious and keep track of their discardings much suffering is avoided.  Anyone who notices and picks up discarded fishing line and hooks potentially saves the life of a sea animal.  It's not hard to do!
